Booking Terms
This page explains how direct booking requests work on this site. It is not a substitute for the final written terms sent with a confirmed reservation.
Request-To-Book Flow
Submitting dates through this site either sends a booking request or, when online payment is active, starts a secure Stripe Checkout reservation payment. Your stay is confirmed only after availability is verified, the required payment succeeds, and written confirmation is sent.
Pricing
Direct-booking prices use current PriceLabs rates, include a 5% book-direct reduction on lodging and cleaning, and add the applicable 6% Michigan lodging tax. The complete breakdown is shown before payment.
Payment Timing
For approved direct bookings, 50% of the stay total plus the $1,000 refundable security deposit is due to reserve your dates. The remaining stay balance is due 30 days before check-in through a secure payment link. US bank payment may be offered when available. If your requested stay is within 30 days, the full stay total plus the deposit is required before confirmation.
Availability
Availability can change until the booking is confirmed. If requested dates are not available, we may suggest nearby dates or invite you to join a cancellation list.
Cancellation
Cancellation terms are confirmed with your reservation. The FAQ gives the current general policy, but your written confirmation controls if details differ.
Damage And Extra Cleaning
A $1,000 refundable security deposit is charged with the reservation. It is scheduled to refund two days after checkout following inspection unless all or part must be held for documented damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, smoking, unauthorized pets, parties, hot tub misuse, or another agreed rule violation.
If a deduction is needed, Pure Michigan Getaways will document the reason and refund the unused balance. The time for a released refund to appear depends on the guest's bank or card issuer.
Guests remain responsible for intentional damage, smoking, unauthorized pets, parties, hot tub misuse, missing items, excessive cleaning, and any issue excluded by the final written booking terms.

Dining, tours, and local experiences may be provided by third parties. Their own terms, availability, pricing, and cancellation rules may apply.
