Cancellation policy

How to reserve

Choose your dates and guests, review the price, then enter your details and continue to Stripe’s secure payment page. If online payment is unavailable, contact us about your dates. Your stay is confirmed only after availability and payment are verified and written confirmation is sent.

Pricing

The base rate includes up to 3 guests. A fourth guest using the downstairs pullout sofa costs $50 for each night of the stay, plus the lodging tax shown in your quote. This fee is added after discounts and appears separately before payment. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. No pets.

Direct-booking prices include applicable early-booking, weekly or monthly stay discounts, plus an additional reduction on lodging and cleaning: 5.5% for stays under 28 nights, or 7.5% for stays of 28 nights or more when paying by US bank account. Card-paid reservations may receive a smaller direct discount; the exact savings are shown in your quote. The applicable 6% Michigan lodging tax is added after discounts. Payment Timing

For approved direct bookings, 50% of the stay total plus the $1,000 refundable security deposit is due to reserve your dates. When enough processing time remains, payment is collected by ACH through Stripe’s secure bank connection. The remaining stay balance is due 30 days before check-in through a secure bank-payment link. Last-minute stays may require card payment. If your requested stay is within 30 days, the full stay total plus the deposit is required before confirmation.

ACH payments normally take two to four business days to clear. Your dates remain held while the initial payment processes, but the reservation is not confirmed until Stripe reports that the funds cleared. By completing Stripe Checkout, you authorize the one-time debit shown there and permit Stripe to save the selected payment method for the disclosed remaining balance.

Availability

Availability can change until the booking is confirmed. If requested dates are not available, we may suggest nearby dates or invite you to join a cancellation list.

Damage And Extra Cleaning

A $1,000 refundable security deposit is included with the reservation payment. It is scheduled to refund two days after checkout following inspection unless all or part must be held for documented damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, smoking, unauthorized pets, parties, hot tub misuse, or another agreed rule violation.

If a deduction is needed, Pure Michigan Getaways will document the reason and refund the unused balance to the original payment method. ACH refunds normally require additional bank-processing time after Stripe submits them.

Guests remain responsible for intentional damage, smoking, unauthorized pets, parties, hot tub misuse, missing items, excessive cleaning, and any issue excluded by the final written booking terms.
